Allow me to explain who I am, why I called my business Content Chef and what makes me different from the other freelance copywriters in the Bristol and Bath area.
When I’m not watching a film, taking my rather handsome dog Monkey for a walk or playing semi-professional football, I like to write.
I see words as an opportunity to creatively express an idea and inspire people. Not an excuse to use crude language or try and overcomplicate simple messages by using the longest words in the Oxford Dictionary.
In order to make your message resonate with the target audience, alter their perception of your brand and get them taking action, you need authentic quality content that’s true to your company.

Why did I call my freelance copywriting business Content Chef?
I could make up a load of deep and meaningless nonsense here. But the truth is, the name Content Chef just felt right.
Maybe I was getting my Ramsay’s Kitchen Nightmares USA fix at the time or perhaps I just love sprinkling my copy with food-related puns. (Probably a mix of them both!)
Either way, the Content Chef brand encapsulates the way I like to write and showcase myself as a freelance copywriter – quirky, creative and always ready to shake things up.
